Malika Lindsay is a Pennsylvania native with a B.A. English and Philosophy from Lafayette College.  She  has worked as an Admissions Officer at multiple colleges, as a College Counselor in Independent & Charter Schools, and as an Independent Educational Consultant over the course of the last three decades.   While she has lived and worked  all over the country (IL, CA, NJ, PA, MD, GA, AZ)  in that time, she has settled in the state of Mississippi. She has continually done all that she could to learn and to be of service to her colleagues and others in her  profession as she herself has grown in wisdom and experience in the field. To that end she is a proud member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling.  She has served and continues to serve in numerous leadership roles for these and other organizations.  Helping young people and their families make their dreams come true informs everything that she does professionally and she is honored to do the work that she is best at for her own company now - Future Focus College Consulting, LLC.  Malika is a  proud parent of one college student herself,  an avid crocheter, spelling bee fan, and Scrabble player.
